NEWSDate: Dec 05, 2011 Raiders Still Ranked Nationally
The Raiders finsihed the week with a win, a loss and an overtime loss but are still ranked 7th overall in the Canadian Junior Hockey League rankings. Last wednesday, the Raiders were down early to the visiting Pembroke Lumber Kings 3-0 but just came up short in their comeback before losing 4-3. On Saturday, the Raiders beat the Junior Sens 4-2 with Bryce Twa adding two helpers. In the return match Sundauy afternoon, the Junior Sens won a hard-fought game in overtime, 4-3. This week the Raiders play two home games. On Wednesday, Nepean plays host to the Smiths Falls Bears at 7:30 and are at home again Sunday, December 11 against the Gloucester Rangers at 2:30.
